Set Up CARB Clean Truck Check for a Vehicle Follow

The CARB Clean Truck Check (CARB CTC) feature enables automatic remote emissions testing for vehicles and submits results to CARB according to the configured schedule. 

Follow these steps to set it up:

1. Log in to portal.hos247.com.

2. In the left-hand menu, click Manage, then select Vehicles.

3. On the Manage Vehicles screen, click on the vehicle.
   

4. In the Tracker ID field, select the tracker ID assigned to the PT40 device installed in the vehicle. 
   

   The Enable CARB Clean Truck Check checkbox will appear.

5. Enable CARB Clean Truck Check. Doing so will reveal the CARB CTC Testing Schedule section below.

6. In the CARB CTC Testing Schedule section, configure the following:

a. Compliance Due Date

• If the vehicle is registered in California: enter the DMV Registration Month and Day. The testing schedule will be calculated based on this date.

• For non-California vehicles: the Compliance Due Date is calculated automatically based on the last digit of the VIN.

7. Click Save. 

After saving, the vehicle appears on the CARB CTC page, where you can view its testing schedule and results. Tests run automatically on the schedule you set.
