Install PT40 Hardware Follow

1. Before starting the vehicle, connect the PT40 to the vehicle's diagnostic port (ECM port) using the provided cable.

2. Secure the PT40 in an accessible location where the LED indicators remain visible. The device should be kept away from excessive heat and metal surfaces that may block GPS or cellular signals. 

3. The PT40 LEDs will begin flashing while the device acquires GPS signal, connects to the vehicle, and establishes cellular network connection.

4. Wait for the LEDs to stop flashing. Installation is complete when the LEDs become solid, indicating:

• Orange: GPS signal acquired

• Green: Vehicle connection established

• Blue: Cellular network connected

Note: Record the Serial Number (SN) and MAC address (or device Name if MAC is not shown) from the device label as you will need this information for next steps.
