Installation of this device requires electrical knowledge and appropriate tools. Professional installation is recommended.
Place the vehicle tracking device under the dashboard at the base of the windshield. For best results, use a zip-tie to secure the device to prevent it from falling and make sure it faces upward and is positioned away from large metal surfaces for optimal signal reception.
Find a constant 12-24V power source (see wiring diagram for your vehicle) and use the "poke and wrap" technique to connect it to the red wire on the tracking device.
Note: Power should be taken directly from the ignition column. Do not use the radio as a power source.
Find the ignition/accessory wire on the vehicle (see wiring diagram for your vehicle) and connect it to the blue wire on the device.
Note: Never connect the blue and red wires together and attach them to a constant power source.
Connect the ground wire (see wiring diagram for your vehicle) to the black ground wire on the device.
The LED indicators will flash while the device connects. Installation is complete when both LEDs show a steady 1-blink pattern, indicating:
Blue: Cellular network connected
Red: GPS signal acquired
Note: Record the serial number from the device label for portal setup.
