Set Up CARB Clean Truck Check Remote Testing Follow

Remote CARB Emissions Testing allows vehicles to pass CTC tests without taking vehicles off the road.

To enable remote CTC testing:

1. Install PT40 Hardware in the required vehicles.

2. Register vehicles at the official CARB Clean Truck Check portal:

   • Create an account in the Clean Truck Check Vehicle Inspection System (CTC-VIS) at cleantruckcheck.arb.ca.gov.

   • Enter all required company and vehicle information.

   • Wait for the activation email from "CARB Admin" and click the activation link to set your password.

   • Add vehicles to the system.

   • Pay the annual compliance fee for each vehicle.

3. Set up CARB for each vehicle directly in the HOS247 Portal.

   Configure CARB in the HOS247 Portal by following this setup guide and completing the required vehicle configuration. 

4. After setup, devices will test automatically according to the selected CARB compliance schedule. Test results and compliance certificates can be checked and downloaded at the CTC-VIS portal at cleantruckcheck.arb.ca.gov.
