Troubleshoot Incorrect IFTA Miles Follow
The most common reason for inaccurate IFTA reports is an incorrect ELD Connection Interface setting. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Log in to portal.hos247.com.
2. In the left-hand menu, click Manage, then click Vehicles. On the Edit Vehicle screen, select the vehicle with the incorrect IFTA report.
3. On the Edit Vehicle screen, check the current ELD Connection Interface setting. If it’s set to Heavy Duty, change it to Light/Medium Duty, or the other way around. Then click Save in the top-right corner.
4. On the IFTA Reports screen, click Generate New Report. Set the start and end dates for the report, select the vehicle, then click Generate New Report.
5. Navigate to Reports. On the Reports screen, open the report you just generated. Select your preferred format (PDF or CSV) and download it. The calculated information in the report should now be accurate.
